We maintain a safe distance of at least 10 meters as per conservation guidelines, but you'll have excellent viewing opportunities from the elevated boardwalks.
Is the smell at the seal colony strong?
There is a natural ocean/wildlife smell. We recommend bringing a scarf or mask if you're sensitive to smells.
Can we see seal pups?
Yes, depending on the season. Seal pupping season is November-December with the best viewing in December-January.
What other wildlife might we see?
Besides seals, you might see jackals, brown hyenas, and various bird species along the coast.
Is the tour wheelchair accessible?
Partially accessible. The viewing platform is wheelchair accessible, but the paths around the colony are sandy and uneven.
